Sacred Objects
"Sacred Objects” explores American values. Starting in 1993 with “Worn Gears and Missing Gear”, the 7 and 1/2 pairs of L.A. Gears mounted on two octagonal posts are a tribute to the tools and spare parts for a food garden, (including the artist/gardener) but NOT the shoes as fashion statement to die for. The series continues to explore what we value and how we show that.
